Polarizing beam splitter/combiner (PBS/PBC)
Product Description:
Polarization Beam Splitter (PBS/PBC) is used to couple two beams of orthogonally polarized light into a single fiber or a single output containing orthogonally polarized light into two fiber outputs, and can also be applied in reverse to couple two beams of orthogonally polarized light from the branch input of a polarization preserving fiber into a single-mode output fiber, which can be used for power combining of pump lasers and improving the extinction ratio of fiber lasers.
