Description
Field Assembly Optical Connector (FAOC), also referred to as Field Installable Connector or Optical Fast Connector, is designed to enable easy and quick fiber termination on-site with unique V-groove mechanical splice technology and double locking system, therefore providing significant support for users in the construction of FTTH network.
Features
- Compatible with factory-assembled conventional standard SC connectors
- Easy and Quick assembly (within 2 minutes) without special tools
- No need for electric power (Fusion Splicer, etc.), polishing, epoxy, or adhesive on site
- Reliable assembly with assembly guide jig (Drop Cable Holder)
- Available splice inspection with a visible light source or optical power meter on site
- Available to re-assembly process after Termination more than 5 times

2. The width of the Drop Cable Holder is 16mm, compliant with Fujikura brand fiber cleaver standard, so it can be compatible with almost all the fiber cleavers on market, including Sumitomo brand fiber cleaver standard.
3. The default Fixed Cutting Length of Drop Cable Holder: Buffer Coating Length - 20mm, Bare Fiber Length after Cutting - 9mm, total fiber length without a jacket is 29mm (Buffer fiber + Bare fiber), this is the most important part, if the length changes, the splicing result maybe fail. *
